I’m finally back with a new blog post after another little time out!! If I was as good to my little blog as I am to my social media I would be getting 4 posts a day!
Anyway back to the topic of the moment the Galway Fashion trail 2017, I’ve missed all of the other fashion trails with just one thing and another so I made sure I was free fo this one! I just love how much fun we have and I can honestly say I always find ill come across a hidden gem along the trail that I just wouldn’t have found otherwise. Like most blogger events another great reason to go along is we all hang out to actually chat in person, this blogging buzz is a strange and lonely one and its fab to have a giggle and catch up with a gang that just gets it, and we are all snap happy! The struggle is always real.
So spring Spring has sprung In Galway city and what better way to off a serious festival season in Galway than with A fashion trail! Saturday the 1st of April the Galway Fashion trail got off to a Blogger foodie fashion filled start. My blog post today is a timetabled series of awesome events 🙂
We all met up at 9.30am in the fab penthouse room in The Radisson Blu hotel Galway, I was whisked there in style by the Notorious Galway Player in his super slick Renault Megan with thanks to Bradley Renault He didn’t mention part of the deal was to nip quickly into the car wash before hand…. Classic Kieran!!
The morning started off with an amazing breakfast and while we tucked into all of the yummy food, fabulous fashion swished around our Table. All of the amazing outfits of the morning were from one of my favorites in Galway Harper all of the headpieces were Majella Lennon Dalton Brid O Driscoll Millinery and the shoes of the morning were Sheneil Shoes, the lovely Disease from Jewel box also had all of her amazing selection of jewelry and accessories on display the lovely Optique Opticians provided all of the gorge eyewear on the models of the morning.
Over the full fashion Trail, I captured some great videos of my fave outfits and as I always come up with something a little different I’m going to share them on my Instagram and facebook so this blog post is almost like a Diary timetable of what the heck we got up to and check out my Instagram and facebook 🙂
The Official Fashion Trail
So off we went on a Fashionable trail of Galway city!!
11.10 am Sarah Mason Professional Hairdresser
Our first stop of the official trail we were greeted with fab goodie bags and a run down on all of the hair looks on the models and the products used. Sarah Mason salon uses the products Sebastion pro and we got a fab gift set of some mini versions for us to try out all suitable for curly hair so Ill be loving them!! The makeups on the day were by the talented Aisling K Make up.
12.15am Swamp Galway
Our first fashion show of the day was in the Eyre square shopping center, swamp which was one of those shops I mentioned that had some hidden Gems, I’d totally forget to pop into swamp and the girls in the shop organised a really diverse collection of fashion!! I think all of us fashion bloggers were very pleasantly surprised, Swamp has some fab party clothes and some great casual bits also the girls even put together some amazing looks for the races and even office wear. We also got some gorge goodie bags from swamp and some of the other stores in the shopping we needed assistance at this stage with all the goodies 🙂
1.00pm Greene’s Shoes
With a hop and a skip all in a fashionable movement of course 🙂 we are in our third stop Greens Shoes in the shopping center Greens are celebrating a whopping 75 years in business how incredible is that!! With brands like Amy Huberman, Fly London, Irregular choice, Ruby Shoo, Marco Tozzi, Heavenly feet, Ecco, Gabor, Fit Flops, Tommy Bowe, Base London, Wrangler, Converse, vans, Superdry and New Balance to name a few!! Oh and we were also greeted with goodie bags and yummy Green juices from Juicy Lucy. The shoe filled fashion show kicked off and we had the extra treat of Niamh Daniels scarves.
I was delighted that Collette Latchford was back on the fashion trail as I was keeping an eye out for something for my mam, My sister is getting married in May and we were on the Mother of the bride outfit hunt plus day after I spotted some potentials for my mam but as I said earlier there are always some hidden gems that I just wouldn’t ever come across the fashion trail is worth being a part of as a shop just for that reason, customers that may not ever think of you get to visit your shop! While in Collette’s shop the lovely organisers Galway now had a competition for best tweet anddddd I WON!! A voucher for a facial with the Galway Laser and skin care clinic I can’t wait to visit its perfect timing before my sisters big day!!
3.15 Brown Thomas
New on the fashion trail and I was really really excited about this stop, Thomas certainly got the blogger experience in Thomas with reserved front row seating a glass of bubbles and fabulous goodies!! The fashion show was gorgeous and I have more than one favorite in the amazing selection it was great to see some of the guy’s fashion also.
4.00pm Choice Boutique
We took a little stroll down a very busy and music filled shop street to arrive at Choice to another very warm welcome! There is really a great buzz on the fashion trail. Choice has literally so much choice 🙂 the selection is mainly casual but the fashion show really did showcase all that choice has to offer, It’s a bit of a treasure trove of Fashion and its jam packed full of great versatile looks and they have 7 stores nationwide.
Last but no means least we called into Willow for the last fashion show on the trail we got more fab goodies and some bubbles to finish up an amazing day of whirlwind fashion! Willow has also been on the fashion trail before and they never disappoint! I love the mix of casual and super glam that willow stock and we all got beautiful treats definitely ending on a high!

My First visit to Revive cafe in Galway city won’t be my last!! How have I not been here before??? We were spoilt with not just lunch but a banquet of one of everything on the menus including deserts!! The wine was also delicious we were totally spoilt and the staff looked after us so well and we even had a chat with the chef, revive make everything fresh on the premises. We had such a giggle and it was so difficult to leave there were even some cozy blankets which I took full advantage of!! As luck would have it Galway were also having a Gin Festival so to round up the epic day we finished up in The front door Pub and were treated to an amazing Gin demo and we all got to mix up some fab Gin Cocktails… what a finish!!
